DEEP ROOT FERTILIZATION PROGRAMS
Coates Tree Service deep root fertilizations are done using
feeding probes which are inserted into the ground around the drip line area of
the tree, and then the fertilizer is pumped under pressure through the probe
into the ground.
All Coates Tree Service feeding programs use Gro-power liquid
fertilizer as a base ingredient.
Gro-power is the finest liquid plant food available and is especially
formulated as a complete fertilizer and soil conditioner. Humic acids and other nutrients are combined
to produce a plant food that is readily available to the plant. Gro-power liquid fertilizer contains 4%
total nitrogen, 8% available phosphoric acid, 2% soluble potash, and 2% Humic
Acids.
Depending on the health of the tree the fertilizer is
supplemented with other ingredients to fill any nutrient or mineral deficiencies
of the soil.
Iron
supplements are used when trees are chlorotic (yellow) or as a general
amendment.
Nitrogen
supplements are used when trees are stunted in growth, have new leaves that are
small and pale green, or older leaves turn yellow and fall off or die and
remain hanging on the plant.
SuperThrive
supplements are used when trees are new, old, or stressed.
Mycorrhiza
supplements are used when trees are in good shape but exist in poor soil
conditions.
