INSECT PREVENTATIVE PROGRAMS
If your are interested in finding out how these programs could benefit your trees contact us at FOREST@COATESTREE.COM
DORMANT OIL PROGRAM: Dormant trees are treated with highly refined paraffinic oil that
smothers insects and eggs, which have over-wintered on the tree. This program is done during the winter
months (January to April) before trees have leafed out.
WINTER SOIL INJECTION PROGRAM: A low toxicity systemic insecticide is
injected into the soil around the tree.
As the temperatures begin to rise and the tree begins to grow, the
insecticide is drawn up in the sap, so when insects attack the tree they are
destroyed.
